Maths Week Activity


You can select which of these two challenges you would prefer to do for your homework.
There is a different challenge each day.
Tell me how many dollars you make so we can see who the overall Maths Millionaire is by the end of the week.

Parents, please encourage your child to participate in these daily challenges as part of their weekly home learning. There are two different daily challenges. They could select which they would prefer. 

(1) Family Maths Millionaire (good to do together) or (2) Junior Junior (For Years 3, 4 and 5) Maths Millionaire (Good for independent work) or Junior (For Years 6, 7 and 8) Maths Millionaire for those children who want to extend themselves.

Cross Country recount by Meher

Cross Country I ran up the hill zooming past the others. I was breathing fast. When I entered the bush my shoelaces got untied. That was a problem. I had to stop and tie them up. I was falling behind. I ran out of the bush and on the sidewalk. I felt like my legs were going to fall off. Later I past Mrs Berghmans. She gave me a coupon. It was worth fifty house points! I was inside the school. I raced forward as people cheered. I was in fifth place. I walked back to the hall. They started handing out the awards. Four people from our class came in the top three. Katie even got a trophy for coming first. I wanted to start all over. By Meher
